The beginning, the journey and the destination

Videography has captivated me so deeply that I have been obsessed with it for the last couple of months. Me and Dagbjört started out just making a short video out of some clips we shot outside our office 9 months ago and now I'm about to shoot my first music video for an upcoming band called Wago.

I love seeing progress and I love doing what I love to do, if that makes any sense. I'm the kind of person that really wants to see results right away, preferably without spending to much time at it. Anybody relate to that? (I can't help my self from laughing when I write this). We are so often obsessed with seeing results right away that we forget to enjoy the progress and experiance what is happening that very moment! In the last couple of months I have learned to enjoy the process and learned that I don't have to "make it" in one day. Cinematography or videography is just like any other skill or talent, it needs great practice and time to master it. I think that we don't always like to hear the truth because we tend to put our eyes on the end result, for example: "When I've made it in Hollywood I'll be happy". Great example, right? But instead of always looking into the future and hoping that it wil bring happiness, we have to start enjoying where we are right now! Because what we do today will determine where we will be in the future! (I'm really speaking to my self right now, dang I'm good). So lets try to enjoy the process because the journey is just as important as the destination!

Stay tuned for some more blogs from Just us, we're going to try to be a little bit more consistant from now on. Here are two of my latest video's for you guys who are interested, some of you may have seen them but I'm going to post them anyway. Have a good one ;)
