I'm the person who always ends up packing way too much when I travel.
Whether it's for 2 days or 2 weeks, I somehow still think I will need all my clothes and that I’ll for sure read 5 books while I’m there (what can I say, I like having options)!
But over the last year, I feel like I have the carry on essentials down. *unless you have kids and then I have NO idea what you need!
Here's my checklist, you can click on the items to see where I found it!
✓ Neck pillow
✓ Hand sanitizer
✓ Computer / Phone / Pad
✓ Books and notepads
✓ Water Bottle - some countries offer clean tap water, so a bottle will save you a lot of money
✓ Lip balm - airplane air is super dry, so for those with dry lips, don't forget!
✓ A big scarf - they look awesome and you can make a blanket out of it if you get cold on the plane!
✓ Snacks - because there's nothing worse than being "hangry" at the airport
✓ Refreshing eye cream - if you're traveling for a long time and tend to get puffy eyes like me, this is always a good idea
✓ If you have dry eyes like me, don't forget to bring eye-drops. What a life saver!
✓ A deck of cards can turn a long lay-over into lots of fun
My friend Rebekka, from back home in Iceland, is a pilot, and she took me out flying last summer. This blog is the perfect oppurtunity to share a glimpse from that!
So that's what is in my bag, what are your essentials when you travel?
